Tolaytus China Girl (Seal Tabby Point) NOW RETIRED!!
Sire Gold Double Grand Champion Leegrgo Blue Boy (Blue Point)
Dam Champion Birpur Miss Pixie Bee (Seal Tabby Point)
Well they say good things take time, and boy did Pixie make me wait for my tabby girl! Finally in her second litter, and the last one of the three kittens to be born, she made my wish come true.
As soon as Poppy was born and started meowing, I just knew she was a tabby. Born the smallest of the litter, she made up for it with her feisty attitude! Poppy is a gorgeous girl, a beautiful mixture of her parents. She has her father's laid back attitude, but with just a wee bit of spunk like her mother.
Well the 2016 show season has ended and I'm so proud of Poppy. She managed to place 5th Best Entire Birman Kitten and 22nd Overall Best Lonhaired Entire Kitten in the NZCF national rankings.
Her highlights were getting 2 Best In Shows, many top 10 placings, many special awards and 4 Breeders Award of Merits at various shows during the year and placing Runner Up Supreme Entire 2016 at The Sacred Temple Cat Club Show.
Poppy has now had 2 lovely litters and is now expecting her 3rd early October 2018.
UPDATE!! Due to unforeseen circumstances Poppy had to be desexed and is now retired.
Tolaytus Winter Snowstorm (Blue Tabby Point) NOW RETIRED!!
Sire Adorabella Code Blue (Blue Point)
Dam Tolaytus China Girl (Seal Tabby Point)
I have always wanted to breed a Blue Tabby. Pixie and Blue never had any together, but I was so lucky when their daughter Poppy, in her very first litter, gave me not one but three!!
One of these was "Star". She's not the most typiest Birman I've bred, but she has the cutest look and the most darling personality. You just have to touch her and its instant purr.
At her first show she totally charmed the judges and got awarded many temperament awards. She also won me a Breeders Award of Merit at the LHCBA show held in May 2018.
Hopefully she will be having her first litter later in 2018. The last picture above is of her aged 18 months,
Thank you so much to Barbie Muller from Sinhiman Birmans for allowing me to use Cody to get my gorgeous Star, and also to Cheryl Blake from Adorabella Birmans for breeding such a beautiful stud boy.
Star has now been desexed as is currently living with the best family :-)
